The concept map above describes effective graphic design principles. To create an effective multimedia product you must consider many elements. These elements include typography, color, visual hierarchy, cue, visual unity, graphic space, contrast, grouping, storytelling, visualization, numbers, enhancement, and excitement.
The concept map pictured above is an example of such elements. The concept map uses color to chunk information. The viewer can easily make connections between the overall purpose of the graphic, the sub topics, and their respective definitions and information. The concept establishes a path in which viewers process the information. The start with the largest font (the title), flow to a sub topic, and read the detailed information. This process is continued and until each color (sub topic) ha be viewed. |
